Our Story
Shiny maids was created due to a common problem: why does finding a trustworthy housekeeper for Los Angeles need to be such a gamble? We thought there had to be a way to book someone without getting taken advantage of; whether through being stood up or charged extra fees.
Therefore, we made it happen. With a beginning as small as two cleaners and a desire to provide attention to Detail, we now offer complete cleaning services and have become a trusted source to over 1,000 angeleno customers ranging from a small apartment in Silverlake to large estate properties in the Pacific Palisades. We care for each and every home like it is ours because for Us, cleaning is both an art and a craft.

About Our Staff
While many People may look at the sparkling clean interior of a home they may not realize the effort put forth by the hardworking individuals who provided the cleanliness. We are very proud of our staff. They are fully background checked, have received extensive training, and were carefully screened by our co-founders prior to becoming part of the shiny maids family. Some of our cleaners have worked with Us for several years and have developed strong relationships with the families they serve.
We also take great pride in being an LGBT friendly/women-led business and reflect the beauty of diversity that exists throughout the city of Los Angeles.

Fully Bonded and Insured
Shiny maids is fully bonded and insured at a level of one million dollars (for all employees) to protect against loss due to claims or accidents. If anything should happen while we are providing cleaning services in your home, rest assured you will have no financial obligations.
Shiny Maids Guarantee
Should you experience any dissatisfaction with any aspect of the cleaning services provided, please notify us within 24 hours after completion of service. Upon notification, we guarantee that we will provide additional cleaning services to ensure satisfaction. There are no forms required to be completed and no hidden charges — simply our Promise
Thoroughly Background Checked Every Time
Each member of our staff undergoes an extensive seven point background check prior to their first day on the job. This includes verifying each employee’s identity, employment history, criminal record(s), as well as contacting previous employers for references — so that when we enter your home, there is a foundation of trust in place.
Trained Not Just Hired
Prior to working alone, every new employee will complete a comprehensive two week hands-on training program with regards to our proprietary products and procedures (including but limited to; use of equipment, using of chemicals, our proprietary 50-point checklist). At this time, we feel confident that the employee has been prepared to represent our company in its entirety.
